Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 May 2026. These Terms govern your use of hmRide's website, apps, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

The service

hmRide provides a technology platform that connects drivers and passengers for shared rides. hmRide is not a transport or taxi operator. Drivers and passengers enter into ride arrangements with each other; hmRide facilitates matching, verification tools, payments infrastructure (where available), and safety features as described in the product.

Eligibility & accounts

You must meet the minimum age and eligibility requirements stated in the app and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account.

User conduct

  • Follow applicable traffic laws and platform safety guidelines.
  • Do not harass, discriminate against, or endanger other users.
  • Do not misuse SOS, fake reports, or attempt to defraud others.
  • Do not circumvent verification, fees, or platform policies.

Fees & payments

Platform fees, subscriptions (such as hmRide Gold), and cost-sharing amounts are shown in the app before you confirm. You agree to pay amounts you authorise, consistent with the pricing rules displayed at the time of booking.

Disclaimer & limitation

The Services are provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. hmRide does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every ride will meet your expectations. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, hmRide and its affiliates are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Services.

Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, risk to the community, or legal requirements.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Gurgaon, Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.
